| Georgia's rivers, lakes and streams are in trouble. A large portion of the sources of water pollution relate to our daily activities where we live and work. The good news is that there is hope for Georgia's rivers, lakes and streams. One way is to request a free workshop to be held in your community or with your organization and learn alternatives to the daily activities that generate pollution. Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources is offering a free Spring Cleaning/Household Hazardous Waste Maagement Workshop which will teach residents the proper method to dispose of common household items. This workshop will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 beginning at 7:00pm at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
